Where social media serves as the only apparatus.

Temporary pictures are posted on profiles.
Crazy laughter means more than innocent smiles.

Friendships are proved by tagging on memes.
Number of likes, comments and followers is the only thing that means.

Fun is defined by drinks and dance.
Lust is a more common form of romance.

In such a world she was adamant
To find someone more permanent.

Someone not supercool but old school
Indeed she is a fool.

      1. Reality always normal and neutral. Sad and happiness are the mind status of acceptance.
        Once own acceptance or illusions and wrong judgement can be distress.
        One must need a cheerful mind to think calm and adopt the best but young generation hurry up and create errors. No one perfect but how one can handle situations only matters.

      1. Oh yes. Its both a boon and a bane to feel sometimes too much. Especially in this so fast and practical world. Most of the people find it easy to switch feelings on and off, the moments they find convenient. It’s difficult for many genuine romantics. Atleast it’s for me. But we got to keep on trying. 😇

  8. A few summers ago i spent about a month away from the web and church (which back then was also important for me). I had a dream that I was impossibly cooped up in a small blanket box with my arms sticking out holes in the sides! Social media can be a pain but honestly, it would be a major adjustment for me to live without this! (I’m doing okay without going to Mass…) 😊
